چکیده
Abstract Objective Ovarian cancer (OC) is one of the most aggressive women cancers with increasing incidence and mortality rates worldwide. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) could as major players in OC process. Although FAM83H antisense RNA1 (FAM83H-AS1) demonstrated play an important roles a many cancers, detailed function mechanism has not been reported OC. Results We integrated multiple kinds bioinformatics approaches experiments validated method to evaluate functions FAM83H-AS1 Some differential expressed lncRNAs were identified between normal control tissues. was differentially up-regulated types. Specially, expression higher showed difference diverse stages. High associated worse pan-cancer outcomes. FAM83H-AS1-centric network including lncRNA-miRNA, lncRNA-protein lncRNA-mRNA ceRNA constructed infer FAM83H-AS1. Long Non-coding RNA ZEB1-AS1 Promotes Tumorigenesis and Metastasis in Colorectal Cancer
Emerging evidence implicates that a large fraction of human genome was transcribed but the transcripts known as long non coding RNA are not translated into proteins. They are contributing in different cellular processes, including cellular proliferation and apoptosis. LncRNAs were found to play critical roles in many diseases and act as key regulators in malignancies. In this study, we investig...
متن کاملThe Role of Long Non-Coding RNAs in Ovarian Cancer
Background: Ovarian cancer is the most fatal tumor of female's reproductive system, and several genetics and environmental factors are involved in its development. Various studies have already identified suitable biomarkers to facilitate the early detection, prognosis evaluation, and the assessment of treatment response. However, the aim of this review was to investigate the role of long non-co...
متن کاملHULC: an oncogenic long non‐coding RNA in human cancer
Highly up-regulated in liver cancer (HULC) was originally identified as the most overexpressed long non-coding RNA in hepatocellular carcinoma. Since its discovery, the aberrant up-regulation of HULC has been demonstrated in other cancer types, including gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, osteosarcoma and hepatic metastasis of colorectal cancer. Recent discoveries have also shed new light on th...
متن کاملSOX2OT, a long non-coding RNA involved in autophagy regulation
Summary: SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT) is a long non-coding RNA associated with cancer pathogenesis. It contributes to a variety of cellular functions and recent evidence propounds its association with autophagy process. It has been showed that SOX2OT can regulate the expression of different autophagy associated factors in human cells with different mechanisms, however more remains to ...
متن کاملExpression and functional role of long non-coding RNA AFAP1-AS1 in ovarian cancer.
OBJECTIVE The present study aimed to determine the expression, roles and functional mechanisms of long non-coding RNA AFAP1-AS1 (AFAP1-AS1) in the progression of ovarian cancer. PATIENTS AND METHODS AFAP1-AS1 expression was assessed in ovarian cancer samples and ovarian cancer cell lines by quantitative real-time PCR. The association of AFAP1-AS1 expression with clinicopathological factors wa...
